SUNRAYSIA almond orchards have burst into bloom and growers are pinning their hopes on a productive growing season in favourable weather.

Gill Farms financial and operations manager Hardeep Singh last week said his orchards at Iraak and Red Cliffs had reached almost 100 per cent petal fall and were closer to the fruit set stage.
