Autumn rains deliver for Carwarp farmer

A LONG-awaited autumn break showered Carwarp properties with relief and hope for a decent winter cropping program this season.

Clay Gowers, 27, said his family's farm, which grows wheat, barley, vetch hay, chickpeas, field peas, lupins and lentils, had been hit by about 80mm of rain so far this year.
