MURRAY Valley Winegrowers (MVW) welcomed a new chairman to the board this week, after Peter Crisp stepped down from the role.

Former deputy chair Chris Dent has taken the reins from Mr Crisp and is set to remain as chair until the organisation's annual general meeting is held later in the year.

Mr Dent is familiar to MVW members, having served on the board for six years, four as deputy.
