A MILLION-DOLLAR glimmer of hope is set to boost the drought-ravaged Millewa's economy and wellbeing.

At last month's Mildura Council meeting, councillors officially endorsed three shortlisted projects to receive a share in $1m funding, as part of the Federal Government's drought communities program.
