STRONG winds have continued to cause havoc for the Mallee's drought-stricken farmers, whipping up what fertile topsoil is left and carrying it far away from paddocks.

Due to increased dust storms and consecutive years of dry conditions across the region, Mallee Sustainable Farming (MSF) tested soil at Lake Cullulleraine.
