Darling fish moves depend on risk, says DPI Fisheries

DEPARTMENT of Planning and Infrastructure (DPI) Fisheries will continue moving fish at Menindee until cooler weather conditions prevail and species in refuge pools are no longer at risk, according to a DPI spokesperson.

The spokesperson said operations could cease earlier if sufficient flows returned to the lower Darling and allowed improved water quality and availability.
