A WAVE of relief was seen on the faces of Mildura Senior College students as they walked out of their Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) English exam on Wednesday.

The students were greeted by excited teachers as they finished the three-hour exam at noon.

English co-ordinator Kerry Banks said the students had worked hard in preparation for the exams, but still couldn't escape the nerves.
