MILDURA West Primary School students were strangely absent for Book Week celebrations on Friday.

Instead, Wednesday Addams, Willy Wonka, Things One and Two, plus a myriad of princesses, superheroes, animals, and fairies, read their poems and memoirs to students' family members at a special morning tea.
