GRANTS to clear vegetation growth and reduce the risk of fire ahead of the upcoming bushfire season have been provided to 12 schools across northwest Victoria.

The schools will share in an $8.4 million pool with the recipients being Koorlong, Underbool, Tempy and Nangiloc Colignan and District primary schools, as well as Ouyen and Werrimull P-12 schools
