VICTORIA'S future doctors are increasingly aware of the career opportunities available in the regions and more may eventually want to practice in the remote northwest, one of their number believes.

Tarsha Hawley, one of three former Sunraysia medical students who have returned to the district this year as part of their Monash University studies, is also planning to practice here herself.
