Competition drives St Joseph’s students to great results

THE dux and proxy at St Joseph's College have credited competition from their peers for driving them to brilliant results this year.

Anthony DeMaria, 18, achieved the school's highest ATAR score of 98.6 to be dux, while Ned Oldham was close behind with 96.95 to be the proxy.

Anthony admitted he was "really surprised" when he checked his phone Monday morning to see his results.
