RED Cliffs' Christmas carols went off without a hitch on Saturday night with more than 1000 people attending.

Carols organiser Karen Willcock said the turnout was pleasing.

"(Barclay Square) park was probably the fullest I've seen it, it was fantastic," she said.

Ms Willcock said the community got into the Christmas spirit at this year's event.
