MILDURA residents have been urged to remain "active bystanders" in the fight to prevent violence against women.

White Ribbon ambassador and Mildura councillor Mark Eckel says the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence annual international campaign, which finishes tomorrow, should not bring an en
