MERBEIN South rising star Dillon Furze might be better known for his exploits with the ball, but he’s making his mark with the bat as well.

At the weekend Furze hit a quick 53 retired from 56 balls, finding the boundary six times, to help his side to 165 in their SCA Under 14 Division 1 clash against Irymple at Henshilwood Oval.
