THE Merbein Community Rodeo has become the latest annual event to succumb to COVID-19.

President Jeff Muller said it had been decided to defer the rodeo until 2021.

Mr Muller said that while this decision was regrettable, there was no option having regard to the likely government COVID-19 restrictions on both spectator numbers and border closures.
