THE McMonnies family was changed forever when a truck collided with a Melbourne-bound V/Line passenger train on June 5, 2007, killing Geoff, 50, and Rose, 17 (pictured, far right).

The crash claimed a total of 11 lives and seriously injured another eight, including the youngest McMonnies daughter, Sharise, in what was one of Victoria’s worst train disasters.
