RICHARD Garlick is aiming to lead a strong Mildura fundraising charge for motor neurone disease this year, in the wake of the death of his footballing friend Mick "Hungry" Hogarth three months ago.

Garlick, who played footy alongside Hogarth in the Sunraysia and Millewa football leagues, as well as at Sturt in the SANFL, has been appointed a community ambassador for MND Victoria.
