RAAF tribute marks centenary

THERE was an ambitious flypast at Canberra, a social media tribute from Prime Minister Scott Morrison and a new military space command announced last week, when the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) marked 100 years since its formation.

Even the Queen paid a visit to the Runnymede Air Forces Memorial to honour the Australians who died in Europe's skies, in a rare journey outside the walls of Windsor Castle.
