IT was a scene of joy for both kids and parents on Thursday as families flocked to playgrounds and parks to enjoy their freedom.

Playgrounds reopened across regional Victoria on Monday, while restrictions on reasons to leave home were lifted and 10 people were allowed to gather outside from Thursday.
