NEW Mildura Regional Development (MRD) chief executive Brett Millington has hit the ground running one week into the job.

Mr Millington, who grew up in Sunraysia, has been splitting his time between Mildura and Melbourne for the past three years, working for Intelligent Water Networks at executive level.
