FOSSEY'S Distillery will launch a new premium vodka -- made using local grapes -- on Saturday.

The Fossey's team has been working on perfecting the new vodka for some time and believe it has great potential both locally and nationally.

Self-described "ginnovator" Steve Timmis said there was scope for national distribution and the business was in talks with Dan Murphy's and BWS to stock it.
