Virgin Australia Mildura flights stay, Rex cuts three trips

Virgin Australia flights between Mildura and Melbourne will continue for now, while Rex has reduced the number of weekly flights on the same route from 20 to 17.

MILDURA Airport chair Peter O'Donnell says airlines have shown support for Mildura with limited cuts to the region's domestic flights.

Rex is the most recent carrier to announce cuts to its domestic routes, with limited restrictions to its two outgoing routes from Mildura – while Virgin Australia announced on Friday that no Mildura flights would be changed.
