THE Mildura Heat’s winning streak in the Country Basketball League was brought to an end on Saturday night with an 83-74 loss to Maryborough at the Hothouse.
Having won three on the trot, the Heat were always going to be tested by the unbeaten Blazers and, despite 16 points from South Australian import Zane Lueth, they fell short.
The Heat now host winless Swan Hill this Sunday at the same venue.
