PLAYOFF progression was secured for the Mildura Heat on Saturday after overcoming their first hurdle in the playoffs picture.

The last game of Heat basketball to be played at the Hothouse this year attracted a packed home crowd to watch a 99 to 67 win against the Southern Peninsula Sharks.
