A ONE night only screening of the critically-acclaimed movie Promised is set to hit Mildura's Wallis Cinema Wednesday night.

Executive producer John Camuglia said he hoped the large local Italian community would be able to relate to the movie, which tells the story of two young Italian children who are promised in marriage by their fathers.
