PIECES of shells, pods, branches and small objects that often don't get a second glance have "come to life" in Shirley Ploog's newest exhibition What Remains.

The exhibition, which was officially opened at The Art Vault on Wednesday, was first inspired by Ploog's visit to Sunraysia 12 months ago.
