Today Spring Orchid Show

Mildura Central - centre opening hours - today, tomorrow and Sunday

KEEN green thumbs are encouraged to view some of the stunning varieties of orchids in full bloom during the annual Spring Orchid show at Mildura Central. Free to view, the display will be located in the central walkway of the shopping centre. For further information contact Dianne Cavanagh on 0438 257 305.

Tomorrow Wenty Fishing Comp

Willow Bend Caravan Park - 8am-3pm

MURRAY Darling Junction Fishing Club's monthly fishing competition reels off again. Register at the caravan park camp kitchen from 8am-11am. Grab a bacon-and-egg roll and pay your $5 registration fee for adults, $2 for children before you head out. Weigh-in is from 2pm. Competition ends at 3pm with presentation at 3.30pm.

Mildura Weir Parkrun

Mildura Weir - Lock 11 - 8am

COME along and join in for a 5km circuit. It's free and all participants need to do is register online before their first run. Parkrun is a collection of 5km running and walking events every Saturday morning along the Murray River, from about 300m east of Lock 11 and heading towards the Apex Park car park.
