SUNRAYSIA is a booming, culturally diverse community, and now it's time to seek wider recognition of that distinctiveness with nominations for this year's Victorian Multicultural Awards for Excellence open until August 27.

The awards aim to highlight ways in which different ethnic communities have been supported, with 14 awards across various categories.
