MILDURA soprano Siobhan Stagg has been appointed to the Melba Opera Trust board.

Ms Stagg was raised in Mildura and in 2009 received Melba Opera Trust's inaugural scholarship, the Amelia Joscelyne Memorial Scholarship.

She has since developed her onstage career in Australia and overseas and is now based in Berlin.
