ORGANISERS of the Mildura Writers Festival are still making plans for the popular event to go ahead in July.

At this stage multiple well-known writers, authors and poets are still set to appear including Paul Carter, Naomi Shihab Nye, Ali Cobby Eckermann and Christos Tsiolkas.
