MILDURA'S littlies are lacing up ahead of a new school year.

Tuesday is the last day to get along to Ascent Footwear's free shoelace tying activities at Mildura Central.

Lace-tying expert Chris Littler said learning to tie shoelaces was a milestone in every child's life.
