MENINDEE resident Graeme McCrabb has described the removal of the old town weir as a "total botch", as about 75 per cent of water remained in the river bed.
But a NSW Department of Planning, Infrastructure and Environment (DPIE) spokesman says about 90 per cent of the weir was removed by DPIE last week.
