CHRISTMAS will take centre stage on Saturday night, as Mildura's Carols by Candlelight kicks off at Nowingi Place at 6.30pm.

This year's event will feature a slew of local talent, including Zoe Cameron, Brent Sullivan and Melanie Saleta, as well as the Nichols Point Primary School choir.
