A WOMAN was lucky not to have injured anyone when she demolished a letterbox while driving at almost three times the legal limit of alcohol in the early hours of the morning without headlights activated, a court has been told.

The Mildura Magistrates' Court heard the 47-year-old had been drinking at a property in Lachlan Court, Mildura, on January 11 this year when she decided to leave the address about 3.20am.
