POLICE have said they hold concerns about an Irymple teenager who was last seen in Melbourne wearing pyjamas late on Sunday night.

Sixteen-year-old Moniqueia was last seen at the Mercure Hotel on Errol Street in North Melbourne about 11pm on Sunday.

Police and family have concerns for her welfare due to the length of time she has been missing, and due to a medical condition.

Moniqueia is described as being Caucasian in appearance with black shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing pyjamas with white and blue stripes, and a jumper.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager and have released an image of Moniqueia in the hope it will assist in locating her.
