A MILDURA man is "embarrassed and remorseful" after roaming naked in Mildura's busiest thoroughfare while motorists made their way to work, a court has been told.

The Mildura Magistrates' Court heard police located 44-year-old Simon Pretty about 7am on March 20 this year in the Deakin Avenue centre plantation near Twelfth Street wearing only his underwear.
