MORE than 350 people paid their respects at Merbein's Anzac Day parade and ceremony yesterday.

There were more marchers than onlookers, as crowds made their way from the Merbein RSL to the band rotunda in Kenny Park for official proceedings.

Merbein RSL president Brian Munro said crowds were above average for both the parade and the ceremony.

It was a good turnout,"Mr Munro said.
