A MOTHER with a serious heart condition says she was on her way to pick up her medication when police detected an illicit drug in her system for the fourth time.

A magistrate said Samantha Ann Taylor's impairment on the road posed a "real risk to the community", placing her on an order that required she undergo drug treatment.
