HELICOPTERS will be frequenting the Mildura skies as a part of Powercor's vegetation inspection and tree-cutting program.

Inspections have begun in the area, with the Bell 505 helicopters using advanced Light Detections and Ranging (LiDAR) technology to accurately scan for trees and branches growing near the powerlines.
