HEALTH authorities will mount a month-long "booster blitz" in Mildura from Monday – with more vaccination sites available – as the region lags in third shots to protect against COVID-19.

The Mildura third-dose rate is just 47 per cent of the eligible population, compared to the state average of 52.6 per cent and a much higher 62 per cent in the Bendigo region.
