AS fire crews battled blazes head-on during the Black Summer bushfires of 2019-20, Red Cross volunteers were making sure fire victims were supported and their loved ones were able to find them.

The volunteers, including three from Mildura, will be honoured on Saturday with a National Emergency Medal, recognising their dedication and service during the disaster.
