A 13-YEAR-old boy has been released on bail and his 15-year-old co-accused is likely to be bailed on Friday after allegedly attempting to stab and rob a Mildura taxi driver in what police described as a premeditated attack.

A children's court was told that as a result of the incident the alleged victim sustained a broken nose and cuts to his hands.
