OUYEN'S iconic pub is facing last drinks as it chases a $125,000 subcontractor's debt from two companies linked to multinationals worth billions of dollars and battles the crippling financial impacts of two COVID lockdowns.

The owner of the 101-year-old Victoria Hotel fears the "permanent closure" of the pub – the "heart and soul" of Ouyen – after his business bled about $7000 a week during tight trading restriction
