IMPERIALS coach Adam Hartlett has sung the praises of the much-improved Luke Hickey in season 2019.
Hickey, the son of club legend Tony, kicked seven goals in Imperials’ big win over Merbein on Saturday and along with fellow youngster Paddy Keogh has given the club extra aerial power.
“I’ve been really pleased and impressed and thankful for Luke’s development as a key forward this year, he is marking the ball really well, both him and Paddy are starting to realise how big they are,” Hartlett said on Saturday.
