VEC recommends against more councillors for Robinvale

A PUSH for more councillors to represent Robinvale appears unlikely to succeed after a report recommended against the idea.

The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) last week released its preliminary findings into a review of Swan Hill Rural City Council’s councillor and ward structures.

It acknowledged a “strong push in submissions for increased councillors for the Robinvale region”.
