MAX Crow is unquestionably Underbool’s favourite son.

He played 136 games with Essendon, 40 games with St Kilda and won that club’s best and fairest award in 1983 and to close out his league career, he chalked up 12 games with Footscray, bringing his total games at the top level to 188.

Max’s daughter is 2016 Rio Olympics single’s scull rowing gold medallist Kim Brennan, who also showed great potential in running before turning her attention to rowing in 2005 because of a leg injury.
