WENTWORTH are not looking too far ahead as the SFNL season reaches a crescendo.

The Roos, now fourth, host Mildura this week in a crucial game for both sides’ finals chances.

A Wentworth win means that after the club’s round 15 bye the Roos would need just one win in their final three games.

A loss and the door remains ajar for teams such as Mildura, Ouyen United and Merbein, who are snapping at Wentworth’s heels.
