MILDURA does not have enough vacant properties to handle the worsening rental crisis, according to an extensive new research report.
While the Australian Bureau of Statistics recorded 293 Mildura dwellings were built over the past five years, those have not been sufficient to house the increasing population of new and current residents looking to secure rental accommodation.
Research confirms vacancy rates hit an all-time low of 0.6 per cent in May, plummeting below the “healthy” rate of 3 per cent.
