MPs touring lower Darling crisis areas

MEMBER for Mildura Ali Cupper and fellow independent MP Suzanna Sheed are spending two days touring the lower Darling River to talk to those affected by ongoing water shortage issues.

Ms Sheed, the Member for Shepparton, and Ms Cupper left Mildura yesterday for a two-day fact-finding mission talking to farmers, tourist operators and community leaders in townships including Wentworth, Pooncarie and Menindee.

They met Jamesville Station owner Alan Whyte before heading to the Pooncarie township yesterday to speak to local representatives.
