A MILDURA business owner says changes to a bike path proposed to run past his Eleventh Street store will make the area safer.

Titto’s Store and petrol station owner Calum McKinnon found himself in a battle with Mildura Rural City Council over plans to run the bike path past the business between Sandilong and Karadoc avenues.

Mr McKinnon said in May that he believed running the bike path in front of his store would be a safety hazard with customers driving in and out combined with pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
